Did you over stuff at Thanksgiving?
carolgunter

Did you make it through Thanksgiving without getting stuffed like the turkey? It is a never cycle of overloading my plate with all the tasty food each year. It’s like a spell that can’t be broken except by me and that will my first New Year’s resolution to lay off so much food at that Thanksgiving feast of food spread out before me. Wonder just how long that resolution can last? The odds are against me I fear to accomplish that 1st resolution. I’ll just go to my second resolution of being a better neighbor to my neighbors. I’m pretty sure I can pull that off without a hitch. Do you make New Year’s resolutions? I do but usually to no avail. Oh well, I’ll just get trying to carry out the resolutions and just maybe this coming year I’ll accomplish my goals.

A lot of people needing prayer these days: Talmage Young, Rose Watts, Charlie Mai Daniel, Jeanette Smithson, Bula Arnold, Ethelene Pedigo, Helen Nixon, Marie Johnson, and the family of Clyde Nokes.

Speaking to some people this week who seem to be doing okay at this writing: Martha Parker, Ruth Brown, Gracie Bratcher, Jeanette Smithson, Helen Nixon, Mai Nell Melton, and Edith Miller.

Decorating for Christmas will now get into full swing after Thanksgiving. It is one more glorious day, Christmas Day, of celebrating Jesus Christ’s birthday. For those of us that have accepted Him as our Savior we cannot praise and worship Jesus enough.

Have a great day! For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
