Under the leadership of Mr. Josh Isaac, this group presented a skit titled "Be the Change" which portrayed the reality of bullying in schools and the need to be the change. The group made DeKalb County history by winning at the state level and advanced to the National Competition in Orlando, Florida June 24-28.

The group is holding several fundraiser to raise money for the Orlando trip including a fashion held March 4 that brought in $5,000. Emceed by Shan Burklow, the crowd saw fashions from Cantrell’s/Fluty’s, Poppie’s Boutique, Just a Little Southern Charm Boutique, LuLaRoe, Matilda Jane, Bailey’s Boutique, the Cottage Market and more. The crowd also enjoyed a preview of DeKalb County Performing Arts’ upcoming production "Crazy little thing called love," as well as a performance by Jr. Beta.

DeKalb Middle School Jr. Beta seeks the community’s support in sponsorship for these students to be able to attend the national convention. Transportation for this event requires a charter bus at a cost of approximately $7,300 along with hotel accommodations at $12,800.
