Sunday evening and the temperature is in the eighties after the showers of rain came through earlier. It’s really nice out on our patio. We are supposed to have some thundershowers move through later this evening. This is not what the doctor ordered. Plenty of yardwork to complete and this rain has hindered that.
We have some people to be praying for: Charlie Mae Daniel, Edna Hooper, John Carpenter, Bernie Braswell, and Bill Nokes, and also the family of Van Nichols.
Do you feel blessed? I certainly do and am content in serving the Lord each and every day. When I get up in the morning I am thanking Him for watching over me during the night keeping me safe and all I want is His hand upon me as I go about my daily routine. We may sometimes take God for granted and fail to give Him the praise and the worship He is worthy of. As His children, we should be so honored to acknowledge Him in everything we say and do. As I’ve said before, I believe the coming of the Lord is at hand with so many people living their lives without God and doing their own thing. We that are Christians need to step up and let them know about Jesus. So many chances we have every day to do just that. Thousands upon of souls are lost every day because people have not been told about Jesus and how He can give them eternal life in heaven when they die. They need to know how easy it is to accept Jesus. If a person will only ask Jesus to forgive them of their sins and they are sincere, they will know in an instant they are saved. No feeling like it in the world when you accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior. It is without a doubt the most important decision you will ever make in your life. The happiness you feel inside is unexplainable and peace resides within because Jesus is living in you and others around you for sure will notice the change in you and will want Him in their life too.
