Congratulations to Jordan and Nicole Cripps on the birth of their baby girl, Claire Cole Cripps, born September 17, in Murfreesboro hospital, weighed 8 pounds and 20 inches. Grandparents are Jerald and Lisa Cripps of Liberty and Doris Linn of Smithville, and Leo Linn of Nashville, and brother, Christian. Great-grandparents are Faye Adkins of Smithville and Louise Frazier of Dry Creek Valley.
David and Monica Reynolds hosted a birthday party for her father, Jimmy Kimbrell at their home in Alexandria on Saturday afternoon. Many family and friends attended.
Kenny Edge who was present, when told that it was his Retirement party also was surprised but everyone saw he was happy by his usual smile on his face. Happy birthday to Jimmy on his 70th birthday. They wished Kenny "rest" from his work and many happy years in his retirement.
Everyone present enjoyed the delicious food, picture taking, and family and friends fellowship.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Fuson, of Cabot, Arizona and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Fuson and Austin of Paris attended the Gymnastic Competions of Alyana Fuson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Fuson, in Gallatin on September 20. Alayna ranked overall 4th in beam, vault, parallel bars and floor exercise.
Alayna is in 6th grade at Lakewood Elementary School in Paris, Tennessee. Congratulations goes to Alayna. She is a great-grandchild of Louise Frazier. Austin Fuson is her twin brother.
The Fusons lived in Smithville when Jeff was going to Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville.
Jeff is an Electrical Engineer with TVA and the Fusons reside in Paris.
After enjoying a dinner at Cracker Barrell the Fusons came to Dry Creek valley.
Jeff and Meg Fuson, Alayna and Austin were overnight guests of Jared and Jennifer Hendrix, Sawyer and Maggie Ann, Saturday.
Wayne Fuson and Deborah Fuson are visiting Louise Frazier and family in the Dry Creek valley and relatives in Smithville.
Jimmy and Judy Kimbrell attended the Kimbrell Reunion in St. Joseph, Saturday.
Deborah Fuson and Louise Frazier had lucndh at Cracker Barrell on Wednesday and later shopped at Loe’s for fall flowers seen in the Southern Living. They found the new wave pansies and the colorful cabbage used for fall decorations.
If you need the old fashioned window shades, Lowe’s has them.
Today is a good day to work outside, cleaning the yard and putting out new fall flowers.
