The Dry Creek Valley has seemed very peaceful this week. The beautiful sunshine has been a blessing for all. The red birds have been out feeding this week. Their color brings beauty to barren trees. Rosea Young has kept the bird feeders full of seeds during these cold days.

Deborah and Buddy Fuson returned to their home in Arkansas this week. Their presence in our home will be missed. They have taken wonderful care of your writer during the past weeks. We wish them safe travels back to their home.

The Jerald and Lisa Cripps family met Saturday at the home of Jordan and Nicole Cripps, Christian and Claire for lunch and fellowship. Justin and Tiffany Cripps of Smithville, Dwight Cripps of Dowelltown, and Matthew and Melody Cripps, Owen, Ledger, and Kaius of Murfreesboro all attended.

Mrs. Nora Harvey is traveling to see a sick loved one this week. She is a kind, warm-hearted lady. We enjoy her visits in our home. Her loving smile and encouragement are always welcome. We wish her safe travels.

Judy and Jimmy Kimbrell of Old Mill Hill hosted Sunday dinner for the Frazier family. Jimmy performed his magic by grilling the perfect pork chops. Those attending were the following: Lisa Cripps of Liberty,

Kathy and Ricky Hendrix, Jennifer Hendrix, Sawyer and Maggie, Jordan and Nicole Cripps, Christian and Claire all of Dowelltown, Monica Reynolds, Levi and Molly of Alexandria, Justin and Tiffany Cripps of Smithville, Deborah Fuson of Arkansas, and Gail Frazier of Alabama.

Monica Reynolds, along with daughter Molly, invited Lisa Cripps on an outing to Murfreesboro. They enjoyed shopping and eating at the Olive Garden. It was a joy to spend the day with Little Miss Molly. It is hard to believe her first birthday is in a few months.

We extend sympathy to the families of Jack Parker, Charles Parker, and Yvonne Green. Get-well wishes go out to John Robert Nixon and Eddie Sutton.

Many cards, calls, food and flowers have arrived to our home this week. We appreciate the thoughtfulness of each one. Sickness comes to everyone at some time, but the genuine love and concern of family and friends help make the days of hard work back to health bearable. We are reminded of the scripture in Galatians: 6 "To bear one another’s burdens." We thank God for caring people.

Remember to attend the church of your choice and worship our Great God.
