Happy birthday wishes go out to Miss Olivia Miller. We reflect back to when she was born. She was a chunky, curly haired sweetie that stole the hearts of the Frazier family at first sight. Olivia enjoyed a surprise 12th birthday party at her home in Lasscassas. Family and friends gathered to enjoy food and fellowship into the evening. Those attending were the following: Kathy and Ricky Hendrix, Jared Hendrix and Sawyer and Kenny Edge of Dowelltown, Sarah and Ronnie Kent of Smithville, Lisa and Jerald Cripps and Christian of Liberty, Monica and David Reynolds, Molly and Levi of Alexandria, Jimmy and Judy Kimbrell of Old Mill Hill, and Heather Kent, Ava and Hayes, Michele and Todd Kent, Brandon, and Elizabeth Miller of Lasscassas.

The family gathered for a meal after church Sunday. The great-grandchildren took advantage of the warm temperatures and played out all afternoon. Spring is looking hopeful in the valley. We see buttercups making their way up and budding through the thick grassy areas. The robins are back out hunting for a worms in the fields. We are ready for warmer weather.

We send out a happy birthday wish to our sweet caregiver Gail Thompson. A celebration with her family was held last Thursday.

Get-well wishes go out to Georgia Hawker.

Our community sends sympathy to the family of Ben Herman. Ben was a friend to all. He loved reflecting back on memories of the past with friends, family, and former students. Ben had a love of sharing a message in song. His funeral was blessed with testimonies from family and friends. The funeral service reflected on the peace and beauty of our heavenly home. Ben will be missed, but remembered. His stories and musical tunes will continue to tickle our ears for years to come. We extend sincere sympathy to his dear family.
