Lisa Cripps, Judy Kimbrell, Monica Reynolds, and Kathy Hendrix hosted a baby shower for Lindsay and Johnathan Frazier of Knoxville at the beautiful home of Natalie and Henry Frazier. Family and friends enjoyed food, fellowship and watching Lindsay open the many useful gifts for little Lucy Ann.
Spring cleaning has begun for many house-holds. Years ago the family’s feather bedding would hang out on the clothes line all day to restore that fresh spring smell. We enjoy using our clothes line when the weather permits. The fresh smell the open air gives clothes just can’t be matched with an electric dryer.
We were sorry to hear of the Harris family house burning in our community. Happy Birthday wishes to our friend Iva Randolph. We appreciate her efforts through the years to care for others. Lisa Bell celebrated her birthday with her family this last weekend.
Logging has begun somewhere in the valley. We see the trucks loaded with logs passing by from time to time.
Bobby Joins got a good report of health this week from his doctor. We are thankful for God’s healing hand on Bobby our friend and neighbor.
The sunny days remind us of how thankful we are to be here another year to enjoy the beauty of spring. We appreciate the continued cards, calls and visits, but most of all the many prayers lifted up on my behalf. The following are recent visitors of Louise Frazier: David and Jean Greer, Lucy Greer, Lenore Walker, Lindsay and Johnathan Frazier all of Knoxville, Jimmy and Becky Womack of Smithville, Rita Fuson-Frazier of Hermitage, and Nora Harvey of Dry Creek. Thanks to Nora Harvey who made a trip to Mary’s Greenhouse in Warren County to buy spring flowers and plants.
Easter Sunday was a special remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and his victory over the grave. The Smithville Review did a wonderful job of sharing the Life of Christ last week. Thank you to all the churches that prepared a special service for Easter. We serve a Risen Lord.
