The year 2012 is gone, and we have a New Year 2013. We watched the ball fall in Time’s Square in New York.
The ball was made of triangles of Waterford Crystals, but the viewers on television only saw the ball slide over and did not see it fall to the bottom? We wonder about that.
Dick Clark’s widow autographed his name on one of the crystal triangles.
But, regardless of the ball falling, we have a new year.
Many people made resolutions for the new year. We made a few. First, be more thankful for life itself. Second, think of others instead of self. Third, be more kind and patient.
We are happy to have so many people who read and enjoy this column. Thank you so much. Keep reading!
There are people who for different reasons cannot read. It’s a joy to read our Smithville Review. We have read it for many, many years. Resolve to read more in 2013.
