Ben and Linda Franklin of Smithville spent a few days in Texas visiting her brother who is ill. Remember him in your prayers.
Estell Ferrell injured her right knee in a fall. She will have a knee replacement in the near future. We send a special get-well wish to her. Her surgeon will be Dr. Peterson of McMinnville.
Mr. Jeff Fuson, son of Wayne T. and Deborah Fuson, Cabot, Ark., has accepted a new position with TVA in Chattanooga. He and his wife Meg and children Austin and Alayana, who currently live near Paris, Tenn., will be moving to a new location.
Jeff is an electrical engineer and a graduate of T.T.U. in Cookeville. He is the grandson of Louise Frazier.
Helen Burt, who was ill last week, has improved. We are glad that she is able to be at church.
Sunday dinner guests at the home of Louise Frazier were Monica Reynolds and Levi, Jim and Judy Kimbrell, Jared and Jennifer Hendrix and Sawyer Allen, Ricky and Kathy Hendrix and Michele Kent and Brandon. Lisa Cripps also visited that afternoon.
Bro. and Mrs. Donald Owens spent the weekend at their country home in the Crossroads Community.
Glad to report that Tom and Georgia Cripps are much improved from a recent illness.
Tom is the uncle of Jerald Cripps, and they live near each other on Dismal Road.
Jerald has been helping with the farm chores while his Uncle Tom has been sick. Jerald has been sick for the past two weeks. Best wishes go to Jerald.
Elizabeth and Olivia Miller and Brandon Kent of Lasscasses and Sawyer Allen Hendrix spent Wednesday with Kathy Hendrix.
Judy Kimbrell and Levi Reynolds visited with the Hendrix family. Brandon and Levi enjoyed playing together.

Events at Dry Creek Baptist Church includes the Annie Armstrong North American Missions Week of Prayer that is continuing until March 10. The theme is “Whatever It Takes,” and the national goal is $70 million and the church goal is $5,000 with special offering dates on March 10 and 24; on March 15-17 will be the Women’s Retreat in Gatlinburg; on March 24, Palm Sunday, will be an observance of the Lord’s Supper; and March 31 is Easter Sunday.
