Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Kimbrell of Old Mill Hill Road and Levi Reynolds of Alexandria were in St. Joseph, Saturday to attend the Kimbrell reunion.
Lisa Cripps of Liberty visited her mother, Louise Frazier on Tuesday.
We send special get-well wishes to Debbie OConner who had surgery on both knees in late August and is now in therapy until the first of October. Our prayers,  love, and best wishes go to Debbie. May she rely on God’s love and mercy during her weeks of recovery.
Elaine Garrison attended the wedding of her grandson in Idaho last week. She is back home now and is still recovering from a accident at her home. Best wishes go to her for a full recovery.
 Dry Creek Community extends sincere sympathy to the family of Mr. Jimmy Ervin of Smithvillein their time of sorrow. DeKalb County has losta good citizen and beloved friend. May God bless the Ervin family, comfort them and extend his love and mercy to them.
We say hello to Georgia Hawker who has been a shut - in now for several weeks. We pray that the doctors will soon find the health problem and have her on the recovery list. God bless her.
Dry Creek Community extends sincere sympathy to the Estes family in the accidental death of their loved one, Nathan Estes. The Estes family is well known in the Dry Creek Valley and are former residents in the Cubbins Hollow. Special sympathy to the grandmother, Eloise Estes, of Liberty. May God’s love give them comfort and sustain them in the loss of Nathan.
At homecoming at DCHS last Friday evening the DCHS Tigers celebrated a big win 35-0 over the Cannon County Lions. Congratulations to the Tigers. Also congratulations go to the player of the week Dillion Williams.
Our community extends special get well wishes to Kenny Rhody who  was air lifted to a Nashville hospital last week. His condition is serious but after two surgeries it is reported that he has a better chance at recovering. Pray for this young man. He needs our support.
Dry Creek Baptist Church coming events; Sunday at 4 p.m. music class doing great a continuing to learn together. Bro. Bobby Robinson our choir director and teacher says “its a joy to teach this class”. everyone welcomed.
Annual Fall Festival , Hay ride and chili supper is Oct. 26. Hay ride is at 5:00 p.m. and the chile supper is at 7:00 p.m. Decorate your trunks for trunk or treat. Senior adults out to eat and shop will be Nov. 4  leaving the church at 10:00 a.m.
