We have been enjoying this cooler weather. The farmers are thankful for a few clear days to start their last cutting of hay. We know Ricky and Kathy Hendrix have been cutting here on the Dry Creek. Jerald Cripps has started his fall cutting on Smith Fork, but will be on the creek by the end of the week. It may be a bad winter, so we need these folks to get that hay rolled for feeding this winter.
We were sorry to hear that Edward Frazier fell and had to spend several days in a Nashville hospital. His daughter Susan Hinton is at his side during his sickness. Continue to pray for Edward and his family.
Rita Fuson-Frazier spent the day with the Frazier family last Sunday. We enjoyed catching up with Rita. She has been remodeling her house and enjoying finding some old articles and pictures long forgotten about. She brought your writer a Smithville Review with Judge Charles White’s obituary in it and the Dry Creek Baptist Church 100th anniversary.

Michele Hendrix Kent and your writer enjoyed a night out last Friday. The goal was to get some good canning apples at Buffalo Valley and eat a nice meal out. We always enjoy our outings with Michele. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
