It's canning time!

This week the Frazier household has been busy canning apple jelly, applesauce, and apples for frying.  We appreciate the help of Gail Thompson and Matilda Earl in preparing these apples for keeping.  It took an entire peck to make four quarts and one half-pint of applesauce.  It seems like a lot of work for such a small output, but we just enjoy the process of preserving fruits. The family will enjoy these apples during the winter season.
We are thankful for the warmer weather. The rainy days were dark and dreary for someone with mobility issues. We appreciate when the sun is out for looking at our birds and flowers. It was early to have the heat on, but the cold, damp feeling in the house made it necessary. Hopefully, we will not see that type weather again until deep winter.
Happy late birthday wishes to Norma Gunter at the Webb House in Smithville. We heard she had a great day. We send out Happy Birthday wishes to Wanda Gard who celebrated last week. Claire Cole Cripps turned three this month. She enjoyed a party given by her parents Jordan and Nicole Cripps, Dry Creek, last Saturday.  Many friends and family attended this event.  Sawyer Allen Hendrix, son of Jared and Jennifer Hendrix, will be celebrating his birthday soon.  We wish Sawyer a Happy Birthday.
The Holly Bobo trial has been on TV every night on the news. We feel so sorry for her family and what that poor girl had to go through. This scripture reminds us when we choose to live our life in sin, we become a slave to that sin. There are so many that kill, steal, and destroy other people’s lives just because their sin has taken over their lives.  Sad!
John 8: 34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”
In Christ alone we find forgiveness of sin and the freedom to follow Him well.
