Keith Dyer of Baxter and Susan Cantrell of Alexandria are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Karissa Dyer and Justin Cantrell.

Karissa is a graduate of Upperman High School. She received her teaching degree from Freed-Hardman University where she was also on the basketball team. She then received her master’s degree at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville. She is an educator at Upperman Middle School and also the coach of the girls’ basketball team.

She is the daughter of Keith Dyer, and the granddaughter of Mary Dyer the late Ernest Dyer all of Baxter.

Justin is a DeKalb County High School graduate. He received his degree in heavy equipment maintenance and technology from Lincoln Tech. He is also a member of the DeKalb County Volunteer Fire Department. Justin is employed at Sunbelt Rentals.

He is the son of Susan Cantrell, and the grandson of Dwayne and Barbara Cantrell all of Alexandria.

The ceremony will take place Saturday, June 18, 2022.

The couple will reside in Baxter, TN.
