Forsythia or Easter bushes as I call them are putting on quite a show this spring. They are simply beautiful.
After all the heavy downpours of rain we had over this past weekend, we were hoping we could dry out this week but more rain again has arrived on Tuesday night and Wednesday. This means probably next week we hopefully can get back to mowing and other yard work.
Bothersome to me and I hope other Christians is how the Vatican and Pope Francis were criticized for being against same-sex marriage. What I read in this article from a local newspaper truly alarms me. We have to come to the place, in my opinion, that people in these last days before Jesus Christ’s returning ae not acknowledging God and his Son Jesus in any way, shape form, or fashion. It’s all about man and his sinful way of living and trying to have his viewpoint that it’s okay in being immoral and against God. What a shameful mess man is in and where he will spend eternity in hell when he could have chosen heaven and being in the presence of Jesus. Telling it like it is and not doing the sugar-coating to bypass God’s word and please the sinners of this world is what we are to be doing. Mankind knows what it is doing but the pleasure of sin and having his way overrides what God says and that will lead so many to perish. We are supposed to be so intelligent but can’t figure out when the hand writing is on the wall of our downfall if we don’t let God’s word, the Bible, tells us plainly He doesn’t want anyone to perish ( that would also mean babies that ae being killed by abortion), and that marriage is between one man and one woman. Judgement Day is coming and God will have the last say on where we will spend eternity in heaven or hell. You can either burn in hell for eternity or live in heaven with Jesus for eternity. Just ask Jesus for forgiveness of your sins. He makes it so easy to accept Him. Please do not put off the most important decision you will ever make of accepting Jesus as your Savior. Today is the day to accept Jesus for we know not when He will return. It could be any second now.
