Music Tree Festival of the Arts will be held in Manchester from May 31 through June 6 at several venues throughout town. There will be over 80 music artists performing on seven stages the week before Bonnaroo, one of the largest and most successful music and arts festivals in the world. Music Tree was designed to provide value to local businesses, residents, and visitors to the Manchester area. No tickets are required because the event is free for everyone who attends.
“The goal from a creative standpoint was to offer a diverse lineup and I feel that's been accomplished,” said Joshua Moore, one of the event organizers. “I'm particularly thrilled with the quality of our lineup. All Music Tree events are free and open to the general public. I encourage everyone to get out and enjoy this collection of talent. You will be glad you did.”
Ryan French, a Manchester alderman and festival organizer agreed that Music Tree will enhance Manchester’s identity and revenue base. “As an elected official, it’s exciting to showcase our community, its talent, and its potential. We have a great group of venues that will not only see increased foot traffic, but will delight our guests with great customer service and Southern hospitality. For the entire week guests of our city are camping and hanging out in hotel rooms, why not come out and have a little fun?”
