The 2021 Grand Chapter of Tennessee Order of the Eastern Star “Love, Fund and Harmony” 119th session met May 9-12, 2021 in Jackson at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. The theme and mission statement was “Share the Love of Christ.” The motto was “Share Love and Enjoy Life Every day.” Foremost objective: Youth and Christian Scholarship, Shriners and St. Jude Hospitals and other charities. The scriptures was Luke 10:27.

The election of officers for 2021/2022 Phyllis Matherly, Worthy Grand Matron Butler #218, Jim McClain, Worthy Grand Patron, Johnson City #194, Linda Edens, Associate4 Grand Matron, Livingston #206, Dr. Jerry Vanatta, Associate Grand Patron, DeKalb #488 in Liberty. Many out of state grand officers and dignitaries attended the event.
Lighter moments included memorial service and several banquets with entertainment. Smithville OES meets the third Monday, and DeKalb OES at Liberty meets the third Thursday of each month.
