Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stephen Borzcik of Huntington Beach, California are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Katherine (Katie) Jeanne Borzcik to Lee Turner Hicks son of Mr. and Mrs. James Glenn Hicks Jr. of Cookeville.Ms. Borzcik is the granddaughter of Mrs. John J. Borzcik and the late Mr. Borzcik of Hamilton, Ohio and the late Mr. and Mrs. F. John Derrick of Cincinnati, Ohio.Mr. Hicks is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Glenn Hicks of Knoxville and Mrs. James F. Turner and the late Mr. Turner of Smithville.Ms. Borzcik is a senior art buyer and print producer at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, a San Francisco based advertising agency, and an active member of The Junior League of San Francisco. She graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.Mr. Hicks is a managing director at Farallon Capital Management in San Francisco. He graduated from Rhodes College, Memphis, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Masters in Accounting.
