It has really been a hot week. We did have a few showers hope to receive a few more.

I did receive some fresh squash from Kimberly Violet the other day they were delicious. I am still waiting on the tomatoes.

Looks like a hot it is going to be hot for the Smithville Jamboree. Take extra precautions and drink plenty of water. If you have any business to do in town do it now because soon the square will be full. I always find it so amazing how many people attend each year from all around the world.

Charlee Mac Winfree and Stella Grace Adcock were both in the Jamboree Pageant. They both received awards. We were all proud of these baby girls.

New Home Missionary Baptist Church enjoyed a cook out on Saturday night. Several attended and played outside games. It is always nice to have fellowship at church.

Rebecca Ervin visited JoAnn Pittman this week when the phones wasn’t working they also have DTC tv so Rebecca just walked up there for a visit.

Lindsy Winfree and I went to Murfreesboro over the weekend to do some shopping we had a wonderful time. But even being in an air conditioned vehicle and going into stores was hot.

Angie Meadows visited Stephanie Tiner on Saturday they are getting things ready for the birth of Sophia. We are all very excited for Sophia to be born. I know Stephanie and Billy are excited also.

I hope everyone has a Happy Fourth of July. Enjoy, and be safe.
