It is time to put up Christmas decorations

Thanksgiving was such a blessed time with all of our family getting together at the home of Ricky and Kathy Hendrix. We were glad to see our first granddaughter and Dr. Barbara Gail Frazier and family of AL at this event. Her three boys and job keep her very busy in Alabama. Let me say how thankful I am for the husband God prepared for me, my 7 children, my 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. I am thankful God has provided me a way to live 99 years to see them grow up.

The Cripps family enjoyed getting together in Lebanon at the home of Gary and Tammye Whitaker. All of Jerald and Lisa Cripps’ family attended.

Last Sunday the Cripps’ met at the home of Wanda Cripps, Lebanon to celebrate her grandson Brayden’s fourth birthday. Dwight Cripps, Jordan Cripps and children attended from Dry Creek.

We were able to visit with our dear friend Inez Farler of Snow Hill during Thanksgiving. She is on the mend, and we are very thankful for her progress. Continue to lift up prayers for this dear lady. Her family is taking good care of her.

We send out prayer and love support to Karen Jacobs, our dear doctor and friend, Jack Rhody, and Baby Lela Young. May God’s healing hand be with you all.

It is still canning time in our house. The juice from the apples has made some tasty apple jelly.

Lisa Cripps has been helping me with our Christmas decorations. The tree is up and a few things are out, but much more to be accomplished to reach out decoration goal.

Our community has been devastated by the loss of Moose and Becky Nokes’ home to fire. We continue to lift them up in our prayers. They have many precious memories in that home, but we know God will provide for their future. Please remember them in your prayers.

God is the King of Kings and the King of this World.
