Jesus Christ is the meaning of Christmas

Just a day away from the birthday of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I cannot imagine my life without Jesus. He is a great listener when you need someone to talk too, a comfort when you cannot find peace anywhere else, a friend who will never leave your side, and someone who gave His life so you could live in eternity with Him if you only accept Him as your Savior. Jesus does not care what you have done, your race, if you’re tall, short, skinny, fat all He cares about is your salvation. Just remember why we celebrate Christmas.

As a child, like every other child, I could not wait until Christmas day. I always tried to find gifts ahead of time, but as I got older I stopped doing that.  It took the fun out of Christmas morning. Nothing like Christmas morning through the eyes of your children; the excitement is contagious. I still get up early on Christmas morning even though my children are married and have their own house. Sometimes I call them early just to remind them of all the mornings I got up at 3 a.m. I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas. Enjoy this day with family and friends.

Please remember in prayer the families that have lost loved one this year. Prayers for the sick and prayers for our soldiers and their families.

God bless you all during this Christmas season.

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.”  Luke 2: 11-15
