The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Cinthea Lee Comer to Eddie Wayne Ashford Jr. is being announced by the bride-elect’s parents, John and Pam Comer. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Kathy and Eddie W. Ashford Sr. of Smithville.Miss Comer is the granddaughter of the late Capt. Virgil and Virginia Comer formerly of McMinnville, and Harold and the late Maxine Rigsby of Bone Cave.The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Owen Ashford and Annie McNear, all of Watertown; and of the late Verble Pollard and Goldie Pollard of Smithville.The bride-elect graduated with honors from Warren County High School in 2007, and attends Tennessee State University, Nashville. She will receive her bachelor’s degree in secondary English education in December, 2011 after completion of student teaching this fall.
