Leisure Services School of Dance registration open

COOKEVILLE – Dance season is a few steps away.

Registration for the Cookeville Leisure Ser- vices School of Dance is open for ages 3 and up in the classic disciplines of ballet, jazz and modern dance. Classes begin Aug. 3 at Cane Creek Recreation Center and conclude in May with recitals at Cookeville Performing Arts Center.

chance of transmission while providing quality instruction. I think our protocols – which include in- creased cleaning and sanitizing, mask guidelines and temperature checks – will accomplish that.”

The School of Dance, now in its 22nd year, was created to provide quality dance education in the com- munity.

“We are fortunate to have talented, educated instructors who focus on technique and inclusion,” McDonald said.

The annual School of Dance open house, originally scheduled for late July, has been cancelled. “We hope to have one mid-year if possible,” McDonald said.

Tuition remains the same as last year, and payment plans are available.
