Cathy Lester of Smithville would like to announce the engagement of her son, Allan Robert Lester to Jackie Marie Gibbs, daughter of Tim and Lisa Gibbs.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Katherine Lovell and Robert and Joy Lester and Myrtle Leonard. He is a graduate of C.H.O.I.C.E. Homeschool and is currently employed by Mountain State Contractors, Bridge Division.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ruby and Wendall Gibbs and Ann and Doyle Farmer. She is a graduate of DeKalb County High School and Daymar Institute, with an Associates Degree as a Dental Assistant. She is currently employed by Dana.
The couple will exchange vows on July 23 at South Carthage Church of God in Carthage at 4 p.m.
The couple will reside in Smithville after they are married.
