Listening to Billy Graham on the television the other evening from one of his crusades. He was talking about “loving thy neighbor as thyself” (Matthew 22:39). That without a doubt seems quite an impossible task at times doesn’t it? You might want to add but you do not know the kind of neighbors I have. It may seem to be too hard a thing to do, but it is as Christian the right thing to do. If you have your mind centered on Jesus, you know you can do just that. Our life after accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Savior changes completely. We want to please Jesus not ourselves. A new creature in Jesus Christ we became when He saved our soul and we want to do His will. Most of the time if you treat your neighbor well, he or she will return the favor in kind. I’ve always heard respect is a two way street. That is so true. Treat others the way you want to be treated each and every day. Always loved Billy Graham’s sermons. He’s now with Jesus in heaven where he’s been for a few years now. He served Jesus so well while he was here with us. Thousands upon thousands of people accepting Jesus Christ at Reverend Graham’s crusades over the years. What a thrill finally being in the presence of Jesus, God’s son, upon his arrival into heaven. Angels were all at attention for Billy’s homecoming. Nothing could describe how great a celebration goes on in heaven when a child of Jesus comes home. I can only imagine the rewards he garnered for serving Jesus, his Savior.
Please keep in prayer: Jeanette Smithson, Rose Watts, Helen Nixon, Charlie Mai Daniel, Talmage Young, Ronald Lawson, Ethelene Pedigo, Dr. JC Wall, and those families that have lost loved ones due to the virus and the wildfires out of control in California.
