Join us at Marble Springs for a War of 1812 special event in celebration of the life and times of John Sevier. Not only was Sevier an early hero of Tennessee history, and the first governor of the state, but he also served as a War Hawk in Congress and chaired the House Committee on Military Affairs throughout the War of 1812. John Sevier Days Living History Weekend will take place Saturday, Sept. 23, from 9 a.m.– 4 p.m. This special event will feature interpretive talks, popular music of the era, drills, historic lectures, and more.
