I haven't really mused much this last couple of weeks; been dealing with life...Kinda fun and takes a lot of time. It started with the garden. Somehow the weeds did a major attack and I had to fight with mother nature...of course, she won and always will, but there are times we sort of come to a draw for awhile. Then some friends are having personal trouble, there's always spillover from that and that drives everyone nuts. The weeds were on the run till my tiller commited suicide. Now I'm doing a lot of hand weeding. I understand why the tiller gave up! Darn! That's a lot of work. And the tiller is as old as me in dog years! I can fix or replace the tiller; can't do the same for friends. Here's where mother nature comes in again. What’s going to happen, sure enough will happen! I'll just hang on, and get my old ugly butt to the next day.
Hey! Does anyone know a real decent and inexpensive automatic transmission mechanic? I don't want to take a 13 year-old dodge pickup to a dealer. I'll come back one-sided, because I'll have to give up an arm and a leg. Shucks, and maybe even my first born! Though, come to think of it, I'm pretty sure they'd give my first born back. Of course, I'd need some tall cash to take her back! Seriously, I've got a good truck but just suddenly the transmission, started acting like it had taken a sleeping pill. Slowed down over a couple of miles then just stopped. Towed it home, parked it, then a few days later, went out to move it and it worked just fine. But you can bet, I'd only trust it as far as an inexpensive, good mechanic.
I know that some of us here just don't spend much time on a computer, but I'd like you to consider using one to let me know your feelings about doing something about increasing the sheriff’s deputy staff, to give our county more security. and let me know about a mechanic. I don't get out much, mostly cause I just like playing around on my little piece of the planet, but more than anything, I like the peace and quiet!
Transplanted some Hostas this week. I had to; the tree they surrounded was one of those Elm trees that couldn't survive. It came down this week. See, I've been busy. I'm going to move a bunch of other shrubs and plants this fall. Some didn't do well from lack of either shade or sun, some just don't fit where they are but will somewhere else. Things to Muse over. Oh, and I sure can Muse!
My wife and I got a puppy this last week. I'll tell you more as things progress. I'm sure it'll be interesting! Till next week, eat fresh, moderation in all things and remember He's got His eye on you!
See-ya!
