This Friday morning as I was taking out the trash I came back in with a new hairdo from the 80’s the wind was blowing so hard and the leaves were falling off the trees, I believe fall is coming. I know Saturday is supposed to be in the 60’s with rain. This weather has not been good for my sinuses. I hope the cooler weather is here to stay.

New Home Baptist Church will be having Trunk or Treat in the parking lot on October 26 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. chili and soup supper and hay ride will follow. Everyone is welcome to attend. Come out and enjoy some good chili and fellowship.

I got a lot of my Christmas shopping done well, I say that but always find more. I think I will finish the rest of my shopping right here in Smithville. Downtown Smithville does have a lot to offer if you will just go and look. There are so many options there are people that make t-shirts, home décor, sell jewelry, purses and we have lots of clothing stores. Go out and look what businesses have to offer.
