Thanks for all the calls and cards I got wishing me happy birthday. My birthday is Oct. 21 Flora Mae Adcock birthday is the same as mine. I especially enjoyed her call she tells me how much she enjoys my column in the Smithville Review as well as many others. I especially enjoy Mrs. Louise Frazier’s column she makes Dry Creek come alive for me. I would like to be able to walk around some of the places I use to visit down there.

Mabel Pack attended the Baptist Association on Tuesday night at First Baptist Church in Woodbury. She went with Bro. Jonathan Willoughby and family. They went from Mt. Herman Baptist Church. Those attending from New Home Baptist Church were Tim Young, Douglas Ervin, and Jonathan Puckett.

Congratulations to Ethel Keith Ashford and Mrs. Grace Close. Two good ladies celebrate their 101 birthday recently.
