A wedding on the horizon

Marie Walls spent a few days in Gulf Port Mississippi visiting her son, Steve, wife Susan, and family. She went especially to attend her granddaughter’s wedding, Kimberly Walls and Zackery Webster.

 

There were 15 relatives gathered at Marie Walls house on Saturday to help celebrate her birthday.

 

Fay Adkins attended Ian Davis’s 1st birthday party Saturday evening. He is the son of Jennifer and Nelson Davis.

 

Recent visitors of Betty Wilson were Ralph and June Vaughn and Alton Bennett, Treba Hawkins, Faye Adkins, JoAnn Pittman, Rebecca Ervin, Jewell Tate, Jo Dean Redmon.

 

Valerie Mears of Warren County visited Mabel Pack Saturday. On Sunday Shirley and Holly and Abigail and Nathan Pack visited.

 

Get well wishes to Betty Sandlin. She has been a patient in DeKalb Community Hospital.

 

Shane, Brittany and Chloe Miller along with Trent Hawkins met at Don and Treba Hawkins house for Monday night supper.

 

Trent Hawkins had surgery on his shoulder. We wish him a speedy recovery.

 

It has been told that Trent Hawkins and Michelle Parker are getting married at Pleasant View Baptist Church on May 2, and that friends and family are invited to attend.

 

Clara Mae Hawkins is still doing pretty well at NHC Health Care Center.

 

Treba Hawkins visited her mother and step-dad, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Pack, on Wednesday.

 

We all were grieved to hear of the passing of a long-time friend to everyone, Ben Herman.

 

Spring is here. After a long cold winter, it will sure be a welcomed change.
