I know nothing about the Internet, but my son, Ralph Vaughn, got a message through Facebook from Keith Cantrell in Oklahoma, who recently had foot surgery. Keith is my nephew, the son of W.B. Cantrell, who was originally from DeKalb County. Keith had some bunions removed along with treatment for painful arthritis. Some of my readers will remember my brother, who located in Chickasaw, Oklahoma following World War II.
W.B. was wounded during the war, and while hospitalized in Oklahoma City, met Irene Rollins. They were later married and settled out there. It was always a treat every year when their family came to see us. Both W.B. and Irene have since passed away, and I rarely see Keith or his brother Lloyd since they live so far away.
