Randy, Natasha and Ellie Vaughn of Alexandria were the lunch guests of his mother, Betty Sue Vaughn. Randy was celebrating his birthday.
Betty Byford visited me Saturday and brought two of her famous fried pies in the farmer’s market contest. She won first and second place and a check for $50. Betty is a DeKalb County native who now lives in Warren County. She is getting ready for the McMinnville fair. She has a goal to enter every category in canning plus other things.
Jewell Wiser and Rebecca Ervin went shopping in Cookeville Saturday.
Visitors of Barbara Self were Barbara Burton and Mary McKenzie.
Revival is going on at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. Bro. Glenn Denton of Lebanon is doing the preaching each night.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Dorothy Odom in her death. She and her family lived in this community for years. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church.
Kim Violet and Barbara Ervin went to Cookeville shopping Saturday.
Lu Autry Malone spent a few days in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. She is home now and better. Vincent Baker visited her Monday.
Valerie Mears visited Mabel Pack Saturday. They went out for lunch. After lunch they visited Pam Atnip.
Get-well wishes are sent to Rose Adcock. She fell and broke a bone.
Billie Simpson went to McMinnville Monday. She also visited Linda and Buddie Judkins on Blue Springs Road. Cloie Braswell had supper with Billie Simpson Friday night. Billie visited Corrine Melton in Woodbury Saturday.
