Don, Treba and Trent Hawkins, Shane, Chloe Miller, Michelle Parker and daughter spent the weekend in Owensburg, Kentucky and attended a antique camper show.
Get-well wishes are extended to Linda Hendrixson. She had knee replacement surgery in DeKalb Community Hospital recently.
Barbara and Dora Lawson and Ana Lawson met at the home of Sue Arnold Saturday and had a bake sale for Ana Lawson to raise money for the Beta Club. She plans to take a trip to Washington in June with her friends. The sale done well.
I got a call from my friend Loretta Inglish of Nashville. She said she got a call from Susan George. Susan and her husband, Phil George are in Houston,Texas where he is taking treatments hoping to have surgery. They are my neighbors and I pray he will get better soon. They have someone staying at their home taking care of everything.
I got a call today wishing me happy Mother’s Day from Werdna Moss of Dickson. Her prayers and phone calls mean so much to me. I am thankful for all my friends.
Visitors of Betty Wilson were Ralph and June Vaughn, Faye Adkins, Betty Byford brought me a pretty bouquet of flowers, and strawberries. Other visitors were JoAnn Pittman and Rebecca Ervin. Thanks to everyone.
Rebecca Ervin, Kim Violet and Cooper Stanfield and Spencer Stanfield and Hayden Ervin visited Jeanette Redmon Sunday evening.Jeanette is still recovering from her stay in the hospital.
Jordan and Sabrina Melton visited Lou Autry Malone Friday they ate at the White Possum.
For Mother’s Day a gift for Lou Autry from her children was a trip to Gatlinburg. Her and Jaylene Vanatta and Joyce Wright went on Saturday morning and stayed until Sunday.They stopped by Cookeville and visited  Larry and Mandy Tramel briefly on their way home.
I want to congratulate Natasha Vaughn on earning her Master's Degree from Cumberland University in Lebanon.  She worked hard to get her degrees; first the Bachelor's from MTSU in Murfreesboro several years ago and now the Master's.
Natasha teaches at West School in Liberty.  Our family is proud of both her and Randy.  They have made a good life together and reared a fine man in my great-grandson, Drake.  Randy and Natasha's daughter, Ellie, is nine-years-old and a student at West School.
