New hosts for WCTE coverage of Jamboree

WCTE-TV host Becky Magura interviewed Suzanne Williams (Chamber of Commerce) and Shan Burklow (DeKalb Community Hospital) during a special PBS broadcast featuring the Smithville Fiddlers Jamboree. Williams and Burklow have been asked to host the LIVE public television broadcast for 2014.
WCTE-TV produced a live televised special recently showcasing the Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree, along with other Upper Cumberland events and attractions such as “Jammin at Hippie Jacks,” and Cumberland Caverns “Blue Grass Underground.”The show included an interview by Becky Magura, longtime host of the Smithville Fiddlers’ Jamboree. Magura spoke with DeKalb County locals Suzanne Williams (DeKalb Chamber of Commerce) and Shan Burklow (DeKalb Community Hospital), and asked for their thoughts on the Jamboree, and what the partnership with public television means to the people of DeKalb County. Magura went on to say that she is looking forward to Williams and Burklow covering the Jamboree with WCTE-TV as hosts this year.
