The newest class of the DeKalb West School Junior Beta Club was honored during an induction ceremony last night (Sept. 18) at the school. Thirty students from sixth through the eighth grades were added to the West school Beta chapter because of their academic excellence and outstanding character. “Founded by Dr. John W. Harris, the Beta Club has prepared today’s students to be tomorrow’s leaders for more than 80 years,” President Summer Crook told the crowd.
