Going out the front door the other day and was thinking I could say “there’s gold in them there hills” across the way on “Aubrey’s” mom and dad’s place but no it’s not gold it’s “moles in those hills”. Mounds of dirt piled pretty high and they seem to be having a field day in that field – no pun intended. The bubblegum up in the kitchen cabinet will take care of this problem in no time.
Well, we’re out of the deep freeze on the mountain for the time being. This winter weather is something else isn’t it? Hope we don’t have any more of this artic weather. It hurts those of us that are cold-natured more as I just experienced last week.
Pastor Chris Moore’s sermon on Sunday “How to be used by God”. That should be an easy one for us all. Decide for yourself not to care what others may say about you serving God. For those that are just on the sidelines as I’ve said before criticizing you for witnessing to others and finding everything negative to say about you, they are serving the loser in this world. We are to forget about self and concentrate on being a servant of God. He’ll take it from there.
We need to keep the following people in prayer: the family of Mr. Robert Goundry, Alene Ferrell, Carlon and Mai Nell Melton, Houston and Martha Parker, Bill Nokes and Charlie Mai Daniel.
