Wednesday morning, and everyone is, of course, talking about this weather coming in. I’m just hoping it doesn’t get as cold as they are predicting. Plenty of large snowflakes falling already here this morning and some are big like the petals off a flower drifting here and there to the ground as the wind is picking up some now.

Some news to tell you about Bernie Braswell and how he is doing. Martha Parker, his sister, gave me an update and said he is still doing better, and is walking with the help of a walker. The physical therapy he has been doing is really helping him. Do keep Bernie in your prayers.

Betty Barnes’s son Chris and his wife Julia and their son Peyton came up from South Carolina for the Barnes annual Christmas get-together last week. A total of eighteen family members got to be there and had a great time. As I always say it means it all to carry a tradition of family being together celebrating with each other at this special time of the year, because it is Jesus Christ’s birthday.

Saw Marie Ford from the mountain at Walmart on Friday. A treat it was to get to talk to her awhile. I’ve always admired her, and sure did think a lot of her husband, Hershel, as did a lot of other people.
