Weather up here on the mountain is simply great, and I’ve not heard anyone complaining about it. With the temperatures in the low eighties for high and the middle forties at night for the lows a person can get outside and really enjoy this beautiful weather.

Talked to Chloe Evelyn Bogle this week and she is doing somewhat better so keep her in your prayer. Also, others that need our prayers are: Donna Lawson, Denise Stanton, Bobby Taylor, Edith Miller, and Carlon and Mai Nell Melton. Mai Nell was at church Sunday. Good to see her there. We all missed Carlon and certainly hope he will be back with us real soon.

Have you been noticing the beautiful displays of fall decorations that so many people have been putting up in their yards? I do love this time of the year with the pumpkins and mums it seems taking stage in all the preparations to create a magnificent scene of colors for the fall. The trees on the mountain behind our house creating a terrific backdrop to all this as the trees are turning different hues to blend in as they always do during this time of year. The mountain always a spectacular sight will really shine with all the leaves of yellow, orange, crimson, and somewhat gold colors in just a very short time now. A wonderful view of the mountain behind our house as I sit on our patio. Love to enjoy this sight each year as it unfolds.

Lynn and Brenda Underwood and their son, Hunter visited me yesterday evening. Great neighbors and friends to have. I count my blessings for them in my life to always be there for me.

Saw Susan Young at Walmart last week. I always just called her Sue as I saw her a lot when she worked in the office at Judkin’s Nursery years ago. She hasn’t changed a bit and I sure was glad to get to talk to her for awhile.
