Enjoying trick-or-treaters

I hope all of you out there had a good time treating the little ones with candy Halloween night, even though the weather conditions weren’t the greatest, with the rain and the wind blowing so briskly. I enjoyed it immensely and have more fun than the little ones, I believe.

My good friend Chloe Evelyn Bogle is back at home, and is doing pretty good. Got to talk with her on Monday. Keep her in your prayers, as we all need prayer. Another good friend of mine, Betty Barnes, has returned home to the mountain after spending some time in South Carolina visiting her son, Chris, his wife, Julia, and their son, Peyton.

Our pastor, Jeff Armstrong, in his sermon a few weeks back talked about how important it is to witness to others that you come in contact with. How true this is, as some people do not know Jesus, and how are they going to know Him if we do not let them know how great He is, and tell them the wonderful things He has done for us? If we ask God to open a door for us so we can have that opportunity to praise and honor Him unto others, he never fails to deliver, as I have found out. He is number one in my life, the most important decision you can make, as I have said before, is accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. He loves us beyond belief and is our only true friend.
