I’m wanting the upcoming election to hurry up and get here. I’m really tired of all the political ads on the TV and those telephone calls. Having said all that, be sure to go to the polls and vote on Election Day for you to have a say in this election process that you have the freedom to take part in.
Loving the cooler weather that the weather guys and gals have been promising us. We only got a tenth of an inch of rainfall overnight, when the cold front came through. Glad we didn’t get more than that as I feel like, we’re still waterlogged around here from the last rainfall.
It’s about three weeks till Halloween. Have you got your candy to treat the little ones and big ones that night? Seems like each Halloween I have fewer kids stopping by. Others have told me the same story. We figure the malls and other places are the reason as they can collect so much more candy. Not going to buy as much candy this time, because last year I had too much candy left over. If more kids show up this Halloween at my door and I run out, I guess I’ll have to give them an I-O-U.
Do be praying for all the people down in Florida and Georgia that hurricane Michael has affected. Also, be praying for Jerry Lee Cantrell, Edna Hooper, Faye Hale, Sandy Johnson, Charlie Mai Daniel, Bernie Braswell, and Joe Young.
I heard on the radio today that the Post Office is wanting to raise the cost of stamps to 55 cents. Quite a jump isn’t it? This is like so many other venues in my opinion just trying to hike prices up, when it’s not needed. Maybe we could do better, if we had the pony express back in action. Don’t laugh, as we might have to go back to that. We might get our mail sooner, I’m thinking.

We know not what we should pray for but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us.
