October is National Head Start Awareness Month and National Principal Month. Smithville Head Start Center Superviser, Cathy Shehane and Smithville Elementary Principal, Julie Vincent partner together to improve School Readiness Skills in their community. It is very important that children are ready for school, families are ready to support their children’s learning and that schools are ready for children.
