I hope everyone is doing okay with the coronavirus that is going on. We all just need to just keep practicing each and every day the steps of face masks, hand sanitizers, washing our hands frequently, and doing the social distancing. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of care as the ole saying goes.
Listening to the preacher on the TV the other day telling about how Jesus could come back at any second. Many people think its okay to wait as they’ll ask Jesus to forgive them of their sins at a later time. That’s just it there may not be another time to get things right with Jesus as none of us know the time we’ll be leaving this old world. The preacher went on to say “the road to heaven is paved with the best of intentions.” In other words, your good intentions may fall by the roadside if you put off accepting Jesus in your life and you should die today. Please don’t put off Jesus any longer for today is the day of your salvation.
We have some people to keep praying for: Helen Nixon, Jeanette Smithson, Ethelene Pedigo, Talmage Young, Charlie Mai Daniel, Ronald Lawson, Dr. J.C. Wall, Rose Watts, and Sherry Gannon.
We are supposed to have a cooler weekend and if you’re like me you are looking forward to that. Fall a beautiful time of the year to reflect on everything that is dear to you like Jesus, your family, your church family, and your friends in your life, too. Count your blessings for it is God that puts them in your life.
Are you into the fall decorating of your home and lawn yet? I plan on doing some of that shortly. Hope you can attend church service on Sunday. This virus can’t beat us can it? We are children of God and if we will do all we can to protect ourselves, He’ll do the rest.
