Over $1,100 raised for DeKalb Foster Children Fund
The Smithville Business & Professional Womens Club Secretary Melissa Yarbrough recently presented a check for $1,155.89 to Annette Greek for the DeKalb County Foster Childrens Fund. Fall Fest Pageant participants designed shoe boxes to receive and collect donations prior to their respective pageant in October. The contestant, in each age category, who raised the most money was named the Peoples Choice winner.
