Overton, Mallozzi announce engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gaius Overton of Smithville, Tennessee, announce the engagement of their daughter Cornelia Adelaide to Gregory Stanley Mallozzi, son of Ms. Patricia Palenski Mallozzi and Mr. Gian Gregory Mallozzi of Providence, Rhode Island. Cornelia is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Basil Overton of Florence, Alabama, and Greenfield, Tennessee, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe L. Evins of Smithville. Gregory is the grandson of Mr. Americo Mallozzi of Providence, Rhode Island, and the late Mrs. Evelyn D’Iorio Mallozzi, and of the late Mrs. Irene Leskiewicz Palenski-Dziok, the late Mr. Stanley L. Palenski, and the late Mr. Casimer J. Dziok, of Rumford, Rhode Island.

The future bride is a graduate of University School of Nashville and a College Scholar graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Anthropology. She studied furniture design at Appalachian Center for Craft, Tennessee Tech University, prior to earning the Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Rhode Island School of Design, graduating as the RISD Frederick Law Olmstead Scholar. She is currently a project manager with Daigh Rick Landscape Architects in Nashville. 

The future groom is a graduate of North Kingstown High School, North Kingstown, Rhode Island. He attended Rhode Island College in Providence and Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, New York, in Film Production and English Literature. An award-winning international documentary maker and film producer formerly based in New York, Los Angeles, and Trondheim, Norway, he is the founder and president of Erba Creative Productions in Providence and Nashville.

A summer 2022 family wedding is planned at the Overton home in Smithville. The couple resides in Nashville.
