Play it safe and wear a mask

News from the Mountain

Doesn’t look like the virus is going to leave us anytime soon so just play it safe and wear a mask, keep six feet away from others, and keep washing those hands and using the hand sanitizers. I like you, want to get a grip on this virus that has killed over 150,000 people. The sooner people keep practicing those guidelines every day the sooner things can come back to some kind of normalcy in our lives.

Way too much rain has fallen around here lately. Last week four inches just about and the creeks were way out of their banks, just kidding around these parts. A little humor goes a long way sometimes. More rain to come our way this week. Lawns sure are green but as we all know the grass waits on nothing or no one and is growing taller by the day. More likely by the hour would be a better guess. A lot of mowers will be cranked up after the monsoons we have been having. If gardens could talk we would know they are happy, very happy with all this rain. More rain more veggies to enjoy. There’s always a silver lining to be found in any situation I have found.

Please keep the following people on your prayer list: Frank Stembridge, Ronald Lawson, Charlie Mai Daniel, Talmage Young, Dr. J.C. Wall, Ethelene Pedigo, Helen Nixon, and Jeanette Smithson.

Seems like our country is upside down right now but we can and we will get through this pandemic, the protesting, and people that are not showing any upbringing in general. Not just now but every single day you are given give thanks to God in everything. He is the only solution to our dilemma.
