Prom is one of the biggest highlights of the high school year. Young ladies dressed in glistening, formal gowns and young men clad in tuxedos dancing the night away at the perfect venue. These are memories that never leave one’s mind. But there is always the question of "should the couple match perfectly?"
Most guys, who may have never worn a tux before, would say it doesn’t matter if his color coordinate with his date’s dress. And that he should get a say as to what color his attire will be as well. However, some are more than happy to let their date decide on the color, to where all they have to do is attend a quick fitting, pick it up when it arrives and rock it on prom night.
For the ladies, prom is much more than a quick fitting of a single dress and off we go. Their date’s color coordination is a must for the ultimate prom experience.
Some girls, who may have never worn a formal dress, will find it requires an extensive search for just the right one. The first tried on is usually never "the one." From store to store, trying on several selections then finally making a decision, it can become somewhat of an exhausting ordeal just to choose a dress. This does not include the perfect hairdo, jewelry or shoes to go along with that perfect dress. In return, after many hours of preparation, she may expect her date to voluntarily offer to match his tux to the dress she has chosen.
Attire is an important part of prom. Couples who come to a mutual agreements on what to wear and whether or not to match may feel more comfortable and have a more enjoyable night at their big event.
