Rain, full moon and Halloween

This past weekend we have had rain, a full moon, Halloween 2020 and time to fall back. The Review participated in the Downtown Boo Bash and we passed out candy to a lot of princess’s, policemen, unicorns, Elsa’s and Anna’s and some ghouls. We were dressed Angie was Elsa and I was Anna from Frozen. All in all everyone had a good time and received lots of candy. It was a chilly day but no rain. Children have so much fun on Halloween I think they enjoy dressing up as much as the candy. Children now days have candy if they want it. I guess when I was younger I was more excited for the candy and how much I could get. My friends in our neighborhood would get out and go Trick or Treating. Myself, Robbin, Kelvin, and Jeff would get out and have a good time. Now we did soap a few windows and rolled a few trees but that was harmless. I always had a good time with my friends.

As you grow up you don’t see your friends as much but when you get together it is like nothing has changed. A few of us got together a year or so ago and we didn’t miss a beat. We laughed as usually and talked about old times.

Trunk or Treat at New Home Missionary Baptist Church had a good turnout of children and decorate trunks. After the Trunk or Treat everyone enjoy a hayride and some chili and hotdogs. It is great to see children enjoy themselves.

Fall back is a time of year I do not like I am up an hour earlier and asleep an hour early. I am up with the night animals. My husband goes to work in the dark and comes home sometimes in the dark. I may have to up his vitamin c since he will not be seeing sunlight.

Please remember the ones missing their loved ones. Please pray for the sick. Please keep safe from Covid. Also please pray for the lost that they may reach out to our Lord and Savior before it is too late.

May God bless you all!
