Ready to return to normal?

New Home News with Barbara Ann Ervin

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter and was able to spend some time with family. We were able to be together with immediate family. We enjoyed our church service from New Home Baptist Church online of course. And celebrated the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. The pandemic may stop you from a lot of things but not stop you celebrating and rejoicing about Jesus. Nothing and nobody can take away what you feel in your heart.

I know everyone is ready to get back to normal. But I don’t know if our old normal will ever be the same. Some people have had to work from home and make adjustments for that and they may still have to do that for a while. Trying to keep your same routine is very hard. But we have to learn to make adjustments and changes when you have no other choice. I am able to work from home which still keeps me busy. Especially when you are used to working with someone in the next room. I was able to turn in my chair and see Angie. But we have been keeping the phones busy and the emails are flying. Luckily we don’t live to far apart either.

I don’t like anyone seen this pandemic coming to the United States as fast as it did. I have never in my life time seen something like Covid19. I guess I thought it was something that was always in another country but not here.

Please keep in prayer: families that have lost loved ones, our healthcare workers, medical facilities, EMTs, firefighters, law officers, Caney Fork and Smithville Electric, and DTC for keeping our internet going.

Everyone have a blessed day.
