I can hear the rain steadily falling on our tin roof this Thursday evening as I sit at my desk. It’s going to be a really good night to sleep. We just can’t get a break it seems from all the rain we have been getting. Next week more of the same is forecast for us.

Went to the bank today to take care of a little business. Of course, I was wearing a face mask. I was dressed in black. If my mask had been black they may have thought it was a hold up. Can’t help but always think of Nell Raymond when I enter the bank. Nell would have known it was me that was dressed in black and not a bad guy. She was quite an asset to Liberty State Bank and made you feel so welcome because of the way she treated you. “Aubrey” and I were blessed as were many others that came through the doors that knew Nell. Day in and day out Nell was always taking care of business for you yet taking the time to talk to you one on one. She left us way too soon on May 2, 2013 but I know she’s got to be in the presence of Jesus because of the example she set of being a Christian to all of us that were fortunate enough to know her. You definitely made your mark, Nell, and your rewards so many. I’ll never forget you.

Also pray for the family of Linda Jeanette Scott age 66. She passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at her residence. She was a sister to Donnie (Peggy) Scott of McMinnville. Linda was laid to rest on Monday 18, 2020 in the Tittsworth Cemetery.

Always give praise and worship the Lord for the many blessings He gives you every day. If you don’t know Jesus it’s very easy to know Him by asking Him to forgive you of your sins. It will be the best day of your life and oh the peace and joy you’ll feel inside when you let Jesus save your soul.
