Residents in California neighborhood being invaded

Residents in California neighborhood being invaded by turkeys. These turkeys on top of houses, running through lawns, and camping out in trees. No one knew the birds were coming. It’s sort of like that Alfred Hitchcock movie. People are trying to figure out how to get rid of these gobblers. I would suggest a turkey shoot to solve this problem. This is way families could have a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner without that trip to Walmart to purchase one. That would work for me. Sometimes a great idea is just one thought away. We have too many turkeys up here on the mountain that don’t have feathers including me. I feel sorry for those people in that California neighborhood. At least our turkeys are domesticated and do not cause an uproar in the community.

Happy the election is over aren’t you? Be praying for the leader of this country to do right by it.

We’ve got commercials coming out of our ears on Medicare plans that will hopefully come to a stop December 7th. Hope they don’t go into overtime on the time deadline. It is getting where you are a little of the show you tuned in to watch they squeeze in between all those countless commercials on everything from A to Z. I’m tired of Chris Berman, Joe Namath, Joe Theisman, and really too many others that I don’t want to hear anymore and yes, I’m still hitting the mute button and betting some of you are too!

Be uplifting in prayer the family of Clyde Nokes. Clyde passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 and was laid to rest in the Melton Cemetery at Half Acre.

Also keep in you prayer: Rose Watts, Talmage Young, Marie Johnson, Charlie Mai Daniel, Jeanette Smithson, Helen Nixon, Tony and Tracy Neal, Ethelene Pedigo, Charles and Kristi Nokes, and Tim Stribling.
