Dr. Jack and Pamela Rhody of Smithville are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Courtney Lauren Rhody to Duston Glynn Scott.  
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ann the late Harrison Bowling, the late Joann Rhody and the late Jack G.Rhody  and Nina Rhody.
The  groom-elect is the son of Jamie and Dwight Boulden of McMinnville and Terry Scott of McMinnville. He is the grandson of Barton and Lynn Seals of Rock Island, Wayne and the late Linda Glenn of Rock Island and Lincoln and Betty Scott of McMinnville.
Courtney graduated in 2007 as Valedictorian of DeKalb Co. High School, graduated from University of Tenn. at Knoxville this May with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology. She is currently pursuing her medical degree.
Duston graduated from Warren Co. High School in 2003, served in the U.S. Navy from 2004-2008, and graduated from Tenn. Tech University this May with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with concentration in Management Information Systems. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration.
The couple will wed at 2:30 p.m. on May 22, 2011 at DelMonico Winery in Baxter. The happy couple will be taking a cruise to the Mexican Riviera for their honeymoon and will reside in Cookeville.
